Businesses everywhere are going out of business. Omaha looks like a ghost town in some areas. Everywhere on the news companies are going chpt 11 and laying people off left and right. The times are rough for everyone.
We have instituted several new policies designed to get us through these hard times and though they are working, we are uncomfortable with them, as they do not mesh with the original idea of the store. A store for everyone regardless of who you are or what you make.
Many of you know we have been struggling for a bit since we moved into our new place. We have decided that rather than alienate our customers, we just needed a spot that didn't cause such problems. We very much like the building and landlord we have and the town as well. So we have decided to move further into the building.
Our new spot is on the middle floor above Great Plains Volleyball. (Up the stairs, take a left, at the end of the hallway.)
This new spot still has the space and water we need, while providing us with a warmer environment. We also will not have to charge Full retail for our products, nor will we have to charge for the Sit N Knits and Spin In's.
We realize that our frequent moves may cause some customers to loose confidence in us. All we can say is this: Nothing in life is certain, but if your dream is important enough to you, wouldn't you do all you can to keep it alive?
For those of you who will continue to shop with us we say thank you. To everyone, we say: You will always be welcome here at Tonya's.
