Beads, crochet, and weaving and such

Those of you who have ben in the shop recently may have noticed a new addition..a Bead table. What do we need beads for? Doesn't everyone have a bunch of those?
Well probably but we're taking the chance that some of you don't. What are they good for? Beads can be used in knitting, spinning, weaving, crochet and Kumihimo(japanese braiding). Aside from that they are fun little additions to any project or even as a project of their own.
We have examples in the store of Christmas globes decorated with beads and stuffed with tinsel! Necklaces and other jewelry can be a quick and easy present for that someone on your list. Then there are always stitch markers!
Ok so I have been told several times I need to offer crochet classes. Those of you who know me know All my crafts are done left handed. That and I don't crochet. The statement is don't not can't. Recently I have discovered a type of crochet that made me pick up a hook for 2 days straight!
I have told the ladies and gentlemen at knit night but otherwise I don't want to give it away yet. We will be offering classes on this technique in January though.
Others of you may have noticed I have picked up my navajo weaving again and made significant progress. The diamonds came out wider than I planned but I like them much better. Keep your eyes on that little beauty and it may be finished within the month! (or not).
We are working on getting a sign! We have been trying to find the right company and design but the holidays make things..slow.
Hope to see you all soon!
